It is my privilege to share the information that the IUGA Regional Symposium 2018 & URPS 2018 - operative workshop and conference on "Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery” scheduled to be held from 07th to 09th of September 2018 at The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University Auditorium, No. 69, Anna Salai, Guindy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600032 .

This year, the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) has joined hands with URPSSI and the Regional symposium of IUGA & URPS 2018 is jointly organized.

Surgeons may be admired, praised and even adored for good results. But then, we are blamed more than any other specialty for bad results despite all our hard work.

By improving the methods existing and by devising better strategies, especially to tackle the complex problems, it may be possible to avoid repeated surgeries, reduce the morbidity and improve the quality of life of our patients.
